Dentist!

3 weeks running now I have been to the dentist (& believe me it is the very last place that I want to be!)  I would rather give birth than have anything done at the dentist.  It started with a tooth ache in March which went away after 2 days but promptly returned.  Off I went to my dentist I went only to hear those dreaded words... ROOT CANAL!  1 week & some antibiotics later I went to have the tooth removed, no way was I sitting through 3 procedures to mend the tooth only to go through the same again in a couple of years!  Anyway it wouldn't numb after 2 full loads of numbing stuff! So I went away with more antibiotics, a sore gum & loose tooth after the failed attempt to remove it.  Yesterday I returned to have it removed, not an easy task as it happens! surprise surprise!  Here I sit with a face like a chipmunk & a mouth that looks like there was a road accident in it and yet more antibiotics.      Lorraine came to the rescue yesterday with a packet of straws & some wonderful pain killers, I will be eternally grateful! thanks honey.

On a lighter note It is only 1 week to Gibside weekend I have decided, after much deliberation that I will gather all my kits & things that have been sitting waiting to be done & take them & try & get them done.  I bought a lovely 7Gypsies Beach book kit from Jean so that will be going & the lift the flap book got last weekend too.

Tomorrow is our 19th Wedding Anniversary so I might go & make us a medal each! LOL

Pickled!

Lance Gill 1 copy Well Wednesdays classes with  Lance Anderson 'Mr Pickle' went really well, everyone I had a chance to speak to enjoyed it.  I loved the Rustic Journey class, just need to add my photos now!

It really took my mind off the impending doom of the visit to the dentist on Friday which was totally unsucessful! My tooth refused to go numb so I am on strongerantibiotics this week & have to repeat the whole nasty injection thing on Friday :( I hate the dentists!

Saturday was crop day & for once I managed to get there, I seem to have missed the last 3 for one reason or another.  One of the girls had her new copy of SI & my hybrid digi challenge layout was in there, good to see it even though the colours were a bit washed out.   We had a day at the Metro Centre Sunday & I picked up a fab kiddies lift the flap book to alter for just £1.99 I might take it to Gibside to do next month.  All for now as I have to get ready for work :)

Another One...

You see a pattern forming?? yes another beachy book, this time a tag flag book with Creative Imaginations Seashore range.  I just love the red, navy, white combo & the little boats are so cute .  I used the new Doodlebug velvet cardstock with a Cuttlebug alpha for the cover title. Rest of the images are in the gallery, maybe I need one just for beachy stuff  ??Down By The Sea book

I am looking forward to the Rusty Pickle classes tomorrow & will have to prepare tonight :) Should be fun.

Back from Jollies & Mr Pickle!

We came home on Friday, all too soon, the weather was very kind to us & I did come back with an unexpected tan!  We had a good time on the beach & I even did some geocaching and enjoyed it!  I really didn't think I would but it was great fun.

While I was away the details of the Rusty Pickle classes were finalised, the full details are on the Scrapbook Shop website.  I am going to do both of the classes.  Usually we have to travel for classes like this & it is so nice that they are on our doorstep for once, I intend to make the most of it :)

Also we are in the process of organising an afternoon & evening of classes with Mr Pickle himself Lance Anderson  from Rusty Pickle :)  It will be nice to go to a class instead of teach it for a change, I'm really looking forward to it & will post more details when I get back, hopefully all rested & tanned yeah right! Yesterday a friend called with her new Pug puppy Lola, Flint decided that it was much safer on the roof & stayed up there till they went!Laura_lola Flint_roof
